Practical Information

Locations

The welcome drinks will be hosted at the home of Baukje’s parents. Parking will be available at the neighbouring farm, with signage to guide you. The wedding will take place at Pollepleats, a beautiful farm venue in the Frisian countryside.

The two locations are very close, you can even see Pollepleats from the backyard of Baukje’s parents’ home!

Dress Code

Friday – Garden Party
For the welcome drinks, think relaxed summer elegance in a farm setting. Please keep in mind the celebration will be in a garden (so no high heels for example). Even in the Frisian summer, evenings can be cool and breezy, so bring something warm. Please no jeans.

Saturday – Colorful Chic
For the ceremony and celebration, we encourage bright, lively colors for a cheerful and elegant look.
We want you to feel comfortable, but as a general guide: dresses or elegant trousers for women, and suits or chinos with a shirt and jacket for men. Please no jeans.

Children

We love your kids, but we want you to enjoy the day as much as possible! For this reason, we only have our immediate family's kids joining us for the ceremony and dinner.

Gifts

For those who would like to contribute, we will have a gift box at the venue for cards. Contributions toward our honeymoon and house fund are very much appreciated. Euros and dollars are both welcome, and bank details can be provided upon request.

Photos

We will have a professional photographer capturing the day, and we would love for you to be fully present with us. We kindly ask that phones remain away during the ceremony.
